Motivational Monday's- Progress

Good morning---
Happy happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend & that you have a fabulous week ahead. I wanted to remind you all to check out my last blog post as we are wrapping up September which is childhood cancer awareness month. The blog post is a wonderful interview with a mama of a strong little boy!

This week I had to give myself a little reminder that I wanted to share with you all as well. It's about PROGRESS! This is something I have found difficult, stressful, painful, & upsetting when it comes to my fitness after baby. My time has been limited, my body has been through a million changes, & apparently my hormones have just taken over my mind & body! Lol

I have to remind myself that this fitness journey, along with this new mama journey is all about progress & not perfection. It's all about staying healthy & strong for myself & my family. It's ok that I am not as physically strong as I was before I had my son, or that my flexibility is still a work in progress. I have to remember that my back is going to hurt worse than before & that's just okay.

I'm working hard every week to better myself. I am my only competition & all I need to do is get up & do the work. The results & the progress will take care of themselves. I won't stop, I will continue trying to get better. Even if I am slower, even if I am not seeing my favorite number on the scale, I am not giving up; I am pushing until I reach my goal & that's what counts.

Try, try, try! As long as your moving forward, you are headed in the right direction! Think about why you started in the first place. Head back to the drawing board & take a look at your goals, are they realistic? Attainable? Did you put a deadline on them? How close are you? Make sure that you include all these factors when you are working towards your goals. I personally have 2 more months to achieve the post baby goals I set for myself & hopefully I can do that! Who is holding you accountable? Do you have a spouse, friend, or family member that knows your goals & is pushing you weekly towards them? Reminding you not to give up & helping you when they can? If not, find someone you can trust to help you. It's always better to progress with someone in your corner backing you up!

I hope you all have a wonderful week & that you find your progress solutions this week. I know I have reset my mind & im ready to tackle all my goals ahead! Cheers to that! :)
